Frankfurt concert club founded in 1976, marking 50 years in 2026, with gigs most weeks on Gwinnerstraße in Seckbach and an 18+ rule.
The Batschkapp has been part of Frankfurt's music life since 1976 and marks its fiftieth year in 2026. Today it is a concert club on Gwinnerstraße in Seckbach, in the north-east of the city, with gigs most weeks: the autumn 2026 calendar runs from Joel Brandenstein and a sold-out Prinz Pi to Eagles of Death Metal.
Most events are 18+. Card payment works only at the foyer bar; the other bars and the box office take cash. Bags larger than A4 go to the paid cloakroom. The U4 and U7 stop at Gwinnerstraße, and many tickets include RMV travel from five hours before the show. Not for you if you want a late club night: it is a concert venue first.
Most events are 18+; bags up to A4 only, larger bags and helmets go to the paid cloakroom.
