Cuban-themed bar on Calle Centauro Sur in Tulum town with fresh-pressed mojitos from about MX$100, evening live music and reported cash-only payment.
Batey Mojito & Guarapo Bar is a Cuban-themed bar in Tulum town on Calle Centauro Sur, at the corner of Andrómeda Oriente. The Mapstr listing says it was founded in 2018. A brightly painted old VW Beetle outside is used to press sugar cane for the guarapo juice and for the mojitos, which are made with fresh fruit. The menu also lists tacos and tapas, breakfast and a beer garden, and live music, often Mexican or jazz, plays in the evenings.
Prices are low: one reviewer reported mojitos from MX$100, and a March 2026 guide lists rum cocktails at MX$80 to MX$120. That guide also says Batey takes cash only. Hours conflict: two directories list 07:00 to 22:00 daily, the March 2026 guide gives 18:00 to 02:00 on most nights, and one listing shows Sunday closed. Google data on Wanderlog shows the bar open. Not for you if you need a late dance floor or want to pay by card.
