Basement 45 has been running since February 2009 under Frogmore Street in the city centre. It is one long arched tunnel for about 300 people, with the DJ booth and sound system at one end and the bar at the other. Fridays are mostly drum and bass, while Saturdays depend on the promoter and can be dubstep, UK funky, techno or house.
It is one of the cheapest club nights in Bristol: UKRAVE's drum and bass night in October 2026 cost £5.50 and started at 22:00. Nights are 18+, and Harry Shotta is booked for December 2026. Not for you if you want room to move: on a busy night the tunnel fills from end to end.
18+ with photo ID; tickets are cheap, and the busy nights sell out.
