Bar Planet is a psychedelic, space-themed dive bar at 16 Enmore Road, Newtown, built around the Martini. Time Out highlights the mouthful Martini served from a Spanish carafe, a house Martini made with Infinite Spirit gin and a terrazzo bar top by David Humphries. It is run by the team behind Tio's, Cantina OK and The Cliff Dive.
Listed hours: Tuesday to Friday from 17:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 14:00, closing at 02:00 on Friday and Saturday and at midnight from Sunday to Thursday. Martini Mondays are A$13 in Time Out's October 2026 guide. Not for you if you want a long beer list. The menu is built around Martinis.
