Bar Mauro

Bar Mauro opened in late 2024 on Calle Tabasco in Roma Norte and was ranked second in North America's 50 Best Bars 2026, the best bar in Mexico that year. The room evokes 1970s Italy, with mirrors, subway tiles and a mid-century back bar. It is named after the founders' grandfather, a fan of aperitivo, and the menu runs from the Negroni 1929 to El Maurito, made with mezcal, white wine and guava.

Reservations are required, and demand is high at weekends. The dress code is smart casual. Opening hours were not published in the sources checked, so confirm them when you book. Not for you if you want to walk in at 22:00 on a Saturday.
