Hanok cocktail bar in Seochon built around Korean spirits and ingredients, No. 33 in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026, closed on Tuesdays.
Bar Cham occupies a restored hanok at 34 Jahamun-ro 7-gil, in the Seochon area of Jongno. Cham means oak, and the interior is built around it. The drinks use native Korean liquors and low-waste methods: its menu has included the Jeju 2, made with Jeju soju infused with volcanic-rock tea, a local white-wine vermouth and a green-tea chocolate. It ranked No. 33 in Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026, down from sixth the year before.
An older listing gives 18:00 to 01:00, closed on Tuesday. Book ahead. Not for you if you want a late drink or a loud room: it closes before most clubs open.
Book ahead; it is a small hanok bar and walk-ins may be turned away.
