Astor is a bar and restaurant group whose Vila Madalena unit Fodor's lists at Rua Delfina 163; Astor's own site names the Vila Madalena unit among six addresses in São Paulo but prints no street numbers. The site describes a bar boêmio with the line "Para cada desejo, um bar. Para todos, Astor" and a menu of bar food, bohemian classics and new recipes. Fodor's describes the decor as retro, and the SubAstor below the bar is reached down a staircase behind velvet curtains, which the site calls the bar below the bar.
The site publishes no opening hours for the unit, and the customer-service line answers Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 19:00. Astor's FAQ says walk-ins are accepted, no reservation or entry fee is charged, individual tabs are not offered, and payment is by cards, meal vouchers and Pix. Minors may come with a guardian but are not served alcohol. Not for you if you want a club: no DJ nights are listed on the pages checked.
