Armazém São Thiago opened in 1919 on Rua Áurea in Santa Teresa and keeps the furniture and utensils of a neighbourhood warehouse. Locals call it Bar do Gomes. A Time Out review gives beer at R$13–19.50 (€2.30–3.50), and Time Out's March 2026 piece on Santa Teresa names its pumpkin-and-dried-beef bolinho.
The review lists hours of Monday to Thursday 16:00 to 00:00, Friday and Saturday 12:00 to 00:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 23:00. At weekends, and above all on Sundays, young crowds gather on the pavements with beers in hand. Not for you if you want a seat on Sunday: expect to stand in the street.
