Apollo Inn is Andrew McConnell's first standalone cocktail bar, which opened in June 2023 at McDonald House on Flinders Lane. Time Out counts about 30 seats, Art Deco details, dim lighting, a one-page snack menu and seasonal cocktails, and calls it a tiny but magnificent portal to a bygone era. Its 2026 bar list advises booking.
It opens every night until 01:00, with an earlier 15:00 start on Fridays. With so few seats, a group of six will struggle. Not for you if you want a big night out, a late finish or a loud room.
