Amura is a rooftop bar on Rua de São Pedro de Miragaia, a few minutes west of the Ribeira along the river. The draw is the view over the Douro and across to Gaia, with signature cocktails, sangrias and light meals to go with it.
It opens from 11:00 to 23:30 on most days. On Friday it runs from 12:00 to 15:00 and again from 19:00 to 23:30. That makes it a sunset stop rather than a late one: have a drink here, then walk up to the Galerias de Paris or along to Rua da Madeira for the rest of the night. Not for you if you want to stay out past midnight in one place.
