Ship turned bar, restaurant and stage in the Schlachthof district, open Tuesday to Sunday, until 02:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Alte Utting is a ship that now works as a bar, restaurant and small cultural venue, on Lagerhausstraße at the edge of the Schlachthof district. Munich's tourist office names its terrace, together with Bahnwärter Thiel, among the reasons the Schlachthofviertel is the city's unofficial party district.
It opens Tuesday and Wednesday from 16:00 to midnight, Thursday from 16:00 to 01:00, Friday from 16:00 and Saturday from 14:00 until 02:00, and Sunday from 11:00 to 22:00; it is closed on Monday. A programme of bands and performances runs alongside the bar, and the ship can be hired for private events. Not for you if you want a club: this is a place for the first drinks of the night.
Converted Ammersee passenger ship on a railway bridge in Sendling with bar, restaurant, concerts, comedy and cabaret nights, and a disco in the engine room.
Walk-in bar on board; check the programme for concerts and events.

The ship was built in 1949 and sailed as the passenger ship MS Utting on Ammersee from 1950 to 2016. Bought by Kulturverein Wannda e.V., it was moved to Munich in 2017, refitted, and opened on 26 July 2018 on a former railway bridge.
