Alcatraz is one of Milan's main concert halls, on Via Valtellina near Maciachini, and at the weekend it becomes a club. Friday is International, Saturday is a 90s and 2000s night, and special parties fill the gaps: a fluo carnival and a 2010s night opened October 2026, with gigs from Babyshambles and Autechre the following week.
Club nights start at 23:00 with a live band on one of two stages, then three rooms split the music between electronic and techno, hip-hop and trap, and reggaeton. The house rules are relaxed: no lists, and no fuss about what you wear. There is a cloakroom, and tables are booked by phone or WhatsApp. Not for you if you want underground music or a small room.
