Grade II listed former Wesleyan chapel on Peter Street, restored as a concert venue with touring bands most weeks.

Albert Hall was built in 1908 as a Wesleyan Methodist hall on Peter Street. It closed in 1969, ran as the Brannigans nightclub from 1999 to 2011 and, after a £3.5 million restoration, reopened in 2014 as a music venue in the old chapel hall upstairs. The building is Grade II listed, and the restored chapel is part of the draw.

The autumn 2026 programme runs from The Mountain Goats and The Coral to Arlo Parks and Cat Power. Times and prices vary by event. Albert's Schloss, the Bavarian beer hall at the same address, is open until 02:00 every day for a drink before or after. Not for you if you want a club night: this is mainly a concert hall.
