Aduela

Aduela is on Rua das Oliveiras, just off the Galerias de Paris, and Time Out calls it probably the best known and loved after-work bar in Porto. It pours Portuguese wines from several regions at fair prices, along with sangria and moscatel, the sweet wine from Setúbal, plus simple Portuguese snacks and sandwiches.

The terrace fills early. When it does, locals order at the bar and drink in the street, which is half the point. It is the natural first stop before the bars of Galeria de Paris and Cândido dos Reis. Hours change through the year, so check before a late visit. Not for you if you want cocktails or a seat guaranteed.
