Former Ukrainian stone carrier moored at the Buda end of Petőfi bridge, now a concert hall, bistro and rooftop deck.

A38 is a former Ukrainian stone-carrier ship moored on the Buda bank at Petőfi bridge, and it opened as a venue on 30 April 2003. The concert hall sits in the hold, with a bow studio, a bow terrace, a rooftop deck and a bistro above it. The view of the river and the Pest embankment comes with every ticket.

Something is on most nights: touring bands, Hungarian acts and DJ parties, from the long-running Fine Selection house series to hip-hop and rock gigs. DJ parties cost 2,000 Ft in advance and 3,000 Ft on the door, foreign bands 8,500–10,000 Ft. Not for you if you want a club that runs to sunrise; this is a gig venue first.
