The 10 best clubs in Valencia, ranked: Spook, MYA, Oven Club, Akuarela Playa and more, with entry prices, closing times and what each door expects.
The best clubs in Valencia are spread across the city, and that shapes the night. The big commercial rooms sit on the edges: MYA and L'Umbracle at the City of Arts and Sciences, Akuarela on Malvarrosa beach. Spook, the club that carries the name of the Ruta del Bakalao, is out in Pinedo. The smaller, music-first rooms are closer in, in Ruzafa and around Avenida de Blasco Ibáñez.
This list ranks the ten we would pick for a weekend, from techno to concerts to beach-club pop. For each one you get what we could verify: entry price, closing time, the door and one honest reason to skip it. The basics first. Pubs close at 03:30 and most clubs run until 07:00 or 07:30. Most doors cost €10–20, often with a drink included. On Friday and Saturday the metro runs until about 03:00, so the ride home is usually a taxi.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for dancing or, for the concert halls, for listening. Crowd means people who came for the night, not the photo. Door means how predictable entry is and what each one asks of you. Late licence means how long the night runs. Value compares the price with what you get. Every club here has events listed for 2025 or 2026, and prices, times and addresses come from the venues' own sites, Resident Advisor, ticket sellers and Valencia's tourist board. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
The name that survives from the Ruta del Bakalao, now a three-stage club in Pinedo with a Main Room, the Cubo and an open-air garden. Big events run from the afternoon to dawn: Ricardo Villalobos played from 18:00 to 07:30 in June 2026, with early tickets at €11.40. Skip it if you have no way home sorted, because no metro reaches Pinedo.
The large club inside the City of Arts and Sciences, with house, EDM and pop in the main room and hip-hop and reggaeton in Mya Beat. It opens Thursday to Saturday until 07:00, and tickets run around €21. Skip it if you want an underground crowd or a name DJ: this is a big commercial night with a smart door.
A 200-capacity room on Gran Vía Germanías, open since 2018, with a Funktion-One system and a Clap Studio interior of charred wood and red light. The music is deep techno and house, and a Thursday in April 2026 ran from 23:00 to 06:00. Skip it if you need space: it is small, and it fills.
A beach club on Malvarrosa with an open-air terrace and separate rooms for pop, reggaeton, techno and hip-hop. It runs Thursday to Saturday until 07:30, every night in summer, and entry of €20–25 usually includes a drink. Skip it if you came for a DJ booking: the music is commercial from start to finish.
A 4,000 m² garden at the City of Arts and Sciences that becomes an open-air club from late April. In the 2025 season it opened on Thursday from midnight, Friday from 23:00 and Saturday from 17:00, closing at 07:00. Skip it outside the season, or if you want anything more underground than current pop.
The easiest big club to reach on foot, on Calle San Vicente Mártir, with three rooms of house, funk, reggaeton and hits. It opens Thursday to Sunday until 07:00, and general entry costs €12–20. Skip it if you want a specialist music night: this is a broad, mainstream crowd.
A concert room and club on Avenida de Blasco Ibáñez, where autumn 2026 brings hip-hop and urban artists such as Denom, Elio Toffana and DIB for €14–21. After the gigs, club sessions with hits and electronic music run to about 07:00. Skip it if you want to stay in the old town: it is on the university side of the city.
The weekend club of Ruzafa, on Calle Cuba, with a room for current hits and pop rock and another for commercial music. It opens Friday and Saturday until 07:00, and tickets start at €10. Skip it if you want techno: Oven Club is round the corner.
A 950-capacity hall on Calle San Vicente Mártir with a dancefloor and a table area, and one of the main rooms in the city for touring bands. Autumn 2026 brings Mercury Rev, Razorlight and Transvision Vamp, with tickets around €30–42. Skip it if you want to dance until dawn: it is a gig venue first.
A small techno and house room in Algirós that Resident Advisor lists among Valencia's most popular. Nights are local and collective-led, such as the 33/45 crew night in August 2026, which was free and ran from 22:00 to 03:30. Skip it if you want a headliner or a late finish.
Group the night by area and you need one taxi at most. In Ruzafa, Oven Club and Play Club are a few minutes apart, and Killing Time works for an earlier start. Indiana and Sala Moon are both on Calle San Vicente Mártir, a walk from Estació del Nord. MYA and L'Umbracle share a complex at the City of Arts and Sciences, so in summer you can do both. La3 and 33/45 sit on the university side, east of the centre.
Akuarela and Spook are trips of their own. Tram L4 runs to Malvarrosa, but after 03:00 a taxi is easier, and only a car or taxi gets you to Spook in Pinedo. On Friday and Saturday the metro runs until about 03:00 and night buses until 03:15. Keep a second club in mind in case a night sells out.
Valencia rewards a plan with one taxi in it. Pick an area for the bars, pick one club and know how you are getting home, because the night buses stop at 03:15. For prices, transport and how the night runs from dinner to 07:00, read our full Valencia nightlife guide. If you are still choosing where to drink first, our guide to Valencia nightlife by neighbourhood goes area by area. For ticketed nights and events, see NightFind tickets. Planning more of Spain? Madrid and Barcelona are a train ride away.
Spook, in Pinedo. The name goes back to Spook Factory, which opened in 1984 and was one of the clubs of the Ruta del Bakalao. Today it has three stages, including an open-air garden.
Most close at 07:00 or 07:30. MYA, Indiana and Play Club run until 07:00 and Akuarela until 07:30. Pubs and bars close at 03:30.
Usually €10–20, often with a drink. From €10 at Play Club, €12–20 at Indiana, about €21 at MYA and €20–25 at Akuarela. Some nights at 33/45 are free.
At the commercial clubs, yes. MYA asks for smart dress with no sportswear, shorts or flip-flops, and Indiana refuses sportswear. Check the event page for anything else.
L'Umbracle Terraza, the open-air garden at the City of Arts and Sciences, which opens in late April. Akuarela Playa on Malvarrosa beach opens every night in summer.
