The 3 best clubs in Split

The 3 best clubs in Split, ranked: Boiler Club, Klub Kocka and Music Club Porat, with closing times, door rules and one honest reason to skip each club.

5 min read

Split has fewer full-time clubs than its reputation suggests. For 2026 we can confirm three: Boiler Club, a house-music club on Marmontova that stays open until 05:00, Klub Kocka, an alternative basement in Lovret, and Music Club Porat, a concert club on the north shore. The island party scene on Hvar and at Zrće is a separate trip, and we cover it only as context.

This list ranks only clubs we could confirm are running this year, and it says what each one is really like. The basics first: Boiler Club opens every night in summer but only on Friday and Saturday in winter, while Kocka and Porat run on an event calendar, so check the programme before you set out. A draught beer in town costs roughly €3 to €6, and we found no published cover price for any of the three. Vanilla Club closed in January 2025, although some guides still list it.

How we picked

We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a clear musical identity that suits a night out. Crowd means who you will be dancing with. Door means the age limit and dress code, and whether you can tell in advance if you will get in. Late licence means how long you can stay: 05:00 is the latest we found. Value means a fair price and no surprises. A club needed a 2026 event or programme to qualify, and every address and time comes from the club's own page or an event listing. We do not sell tables.

1
House music until 05:00

Boiler Club

Riva, House, Late-night

The one proper late club in the centre: house music on Marmontova, a few minutes from the Riva, in a room for about 940 people, 265 of them at VIP tables. It is polished and table-led, with a 21+ door and a dress code. Skip it if you want an underground or cheap night: this is the table-service end of Split.

Worth knowing
Book a table on the website or through Instagram. In winter it opens only on Friday and Saturday.
Watch out for
The door turns away swimwear and flip-flops at night.
2
Alternative nights and acid raves

Klub Kocka

Lovret, Underground, Drum and bass, Punk

The alternative end of Split: a basement under the Youth Centre that has run acid raves, drum and bass, punk and metal for more than 20 years. The rave on 2 October 2026 was built around the Roland TB-303. Skip it if you want table service or a guaranteed bar, because recent events ran without one.

Worth knowing
There is no weekly schedule, so follow @klubkocka and ask whether the bar is open before you go.
Watch out for
The club had to stop serving drinks in November 2025, and the October 2026 rave was bring-your-own.

Bands and throwback parties

Music Club Porat

Poljud & Stinice, Live music, Tribute nights

A concert club on the north shore that keeps a full programme going once the summer festivals end: a funk and disco band, an ABBA tribute, an Elvis big band and a night of 2000s and 2010s hits in October 2026. Skip it if you want electronic dance music, because the programme is built on songs people already know.

Worth knowing
Check the monthly programme. Shows start at 22:00, or 23:00 for late parties, mostly on Friday and Saturday.
Watch out for
It is outside the centre, so plan a taxi or Uber home.

If you want to dance on the Riva without a club ticket, Olive Tree and Roof 68 stay open until 01:00, or 02:00 on Friday and Saturday, with DJs in the evening. They are restaurants first, so they sit in our list of the best bars in Split. Beach clubs at Bačvice and Zenta change names and operators from one summer to the next, so we list none until we can confirm them for the season.

Split has no metro. Boiler Club is a short walk from the Riva, but Porat and Kocka are better reached by taxi or Uber, and Uber runs 24/7. Ultra Europe returns to Park Mladeži on 9 to 11 July 2027, if you are planning a trip around the festival.

Check each club's Instagram before you go, because programmes and winter hours change. For closing times, prices and how to get home, read our Split nightlife guide.
