The 10 best clubs in Naples, ranked: Duel Club, Basic Club, REC, Riva Club and more, with ticket prices, closing times and how to get there and back.
The best clubs in Naples are not in the old town. The centro storico is where the city drinks, on squares such as Piazza Bellini and Largo San Giovanni Maggiore, but the dancefloors are on the edges: Duel Club, REC and Discoteca Paradiso in Pozzuoli, Riva Club and Club Partenopeo on Via Coroglio, The Wall Club in the Centro Direzionale and Basic Club in Cercola, towards Vesuvius.
This list ranks ten of them, with the ticket price where it is published, the closing time, the age rule and one honest reason to skip each. The basics first: most nights run from 23:00 to 05:00 or 06:00, a ticket usually costs €10–20, and the promoter matters more than the venue, so check who is playing on Resident Advisor. Metro Line 1 stops around 23:00, or about 01:30 on Friday and Saturday, so plan the taxi home before you go.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room and a system built for dancing, from Basic Club's analogue rig to Tempo's Klipschorns. Crowd means people who came for the music. Door means you can predict whether you will get in, including 18+ and 21+ rules and reservation-only nights. Late licence means a 05:00 or 06:00 finish. Value compares the ticket with the booking. Every venue here has events listed for 2025 or 2026, and prices, times and addresses come from Resident Advisor listings and the venues' own information. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
The most consistent techno bookings around Naples, in a two-room former cinema in Pozzuoli: Jeff Mills played in February 2026, and the autumn programme mixes promoter nights with concerts. Tickets are cheap for the level, at €10–15. Skip it if you will not plan a taxi: it is out of town and the night ends at 05:00.
A warehouse for up to 500 in Cercola with a custom analogue sound system, and the strongest house bookings in the region: Ben UFO for six hours in November 2025 and Omar S in October 2026. Saturday nights run from 23:30 to around 05:00. Skip it if you want a short night in the city: it takes planning to get there and back.
An industrial space in Pozzuoli that pairs exhibitions and vinyl workshops with serious techno: Héctor Oaks, tINI and Ellen Allien all played here in 2026. Nights run from 23:00 to 06:00. Skip it if you want to know the price in advance, as listings often leave it out.
The home of the Tendenza parties on Via Coroglio, with techno from 23:00 to 06:00 and a fourth season that closes with Greg Willen on 10 October 2026. General tickets cost €10–15 and backstage €17–22. Skip it if techno is not your thing: it is all it books.
Two rooms in the Centro Direzionale, the most central of the big techno clubs, with Tendenza nights running to 06:00 and a Privacy room with no photos or video. Some nights are free before midnight with a reservation. Skip it if you prefer house or a slow build: the 2026 bookings lean to hard bounce and high BPMs.
A basement for about 100 under Romita in the centro storico, built around four stacks of Klipschorns, with vinyl-led disco, funk and soul. London's Sweetnighter played all night here in September 2026 for €15 including a drink. Skip it if you want a late finish: nights can end at 02:00.
The Pozzuoli club hosting WOO!'s 18th birthday on 10 October 2026, with Kevin Saunderson, Darren Emerson and Francesco Farfa from 23:00 to 06:00. Tickets are tiered from €10 to €25. Skip it if you want a weekly fixture: check the listings for dates beyond this one.
A garden estate on Via Coroglio known for its I Love Sunday marathon sessions, which also hosts techno crews: Beyond The Algorithm's free winter closing ran to 06:00 in April 2026. It is the open-air option on this list. Skip it if you want a dark, enclosed room.
The former NATO base in Bagnoli hosts the region's largest one-off electronic events, from Lovefest with Mixmag Italy in May 2026 to Joseph Capriati's 20th anniversary with Honey Dijon and Chris Stussy in September. Tickets cost far more than a club night: €60 for Capriati. Skip it if you want a regular weekly club.
A music and cocktail bar off Largo San Giovanni Maggiore with tech house and deep house DJs until 03:00 or 04:00 and a 21+ door. It is the easiest late option if you want to stay in the centro storico. Skip it if you want a full-size club or are under 21.
Pick one club per night. The venues are spread across the region, and only Riva Club and Club Partenopeo, both on Via Coroglio, are close to each other. Start in the centre with drinks on Piazza Bellini or Largo San Giovanni Maggiore, or a cocktail in Chiaia, then take a taxi out. Doors open at 23:00 or 23:30, and the floors fill later.
Getting home is the hard part. Metro Line 1 runs until about 23:00, and until around 01:30 on Friday and Saturday, so it only helps on the way in, and among the big clubs only The Wall Club is on the line. Night buses are few. Use a licensed white taxi or book one through AppTaxi or itTaxi, and agree the fixed fare or check the meter before you set off. Within the centre a night ride costs around €12–18.
Naples rewards a plan more than a dress code. Choose the promoter, buy the ticket early and book the ride home before you leave the centre. For closing times, the last metro and what a night costs, read our Naples nightlife guide. If you are still deciding where to drink before the club, our guide to Naples nightlife by neighbourhood covers the centro storico, Chiaia, the Vomero and the coast area by area. Ready to go out? For techno, Duel Club in Pozzuoli, which booked Jeff Mills in 2026. For house, Basic Club in Cercola, with Ben UFO and Omar S on recent bills. Both are outside the centre, so plan a taxi.
Most nights end at 05:00 or 06:00. Duel Club closes around 05:00, Basic Club at 05:00–05:30, and REC, Riva Club and The Wall Club run to 06:00.
Usually €10–20. Recent tickets: €10–15 at Duel Club and Riva Club, €15–24 at Basic Club and €10–25 for WOO! at Discoteca Paradiso. Big one-off events cost more: Joseph Capriati's anniversary at Ex Base NATO was €60.
18+ at most clubs on this list, and you need ID. Some DJ bars are 21+, including MOS' and Happening Napoli.
By taxi. Line 1 stops around 23:00, or about 01:30 on Friday and Saturday, and night buses are few. Use a licensed taxi or AppTaxi, and agree the fixed fare or check the meter before you set off.
