The 10 best clubs in Leeds

The 10 best clubs in Leeds, ranked: Beaver Works, Mint Warehouse, The Warehouse, Wharf Chambers, the HiFi Club and more, with closing times, prices and door tips.

7 min read

The best clubs in Leeds sit in two places: a tight cluster in the city centre and a handful of warehouses south of the river. This list ranks the ten rooms that matter most right now, from the raves at Beaver Works and Mint Warehouse to The Warehouse on Somers Street, the co-op club at Wharf Chambers, the HiFi Club off Duncan Street and the late finishes on Call Lane.

Each entry gives you what we could verify: how late the night runs, what the door wants, what it costs and one honest reason to skip it. The basics first. Most clubs close at 04:00, and a few run to 05:00 or 06:00. Club nights are 18+, so bring photo ID. Entry is usually £5–20, and Distrikt is free every night. Leeds has no metro or tram, so plan the ride home before you go out.

How we picked

We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for music, from a Funktion One warehouse to a small room with a live band. Crowd means people who came for the night rather than the photo. Door means how predictable entry is and what each venue asks of you, from dress codes to membership. Late licence means how long the night runs. Value compares the price with what you get. Every club here has events listed for autumn 2026, and every time, address and policy comes from the venue's own site, Skiddle, Resident Advisor or local listings. We do not sell tickets ourselves.

The autumn 2026 calendar covers jungle, bassline, acid house and techno, from Paranoid London to the Rejuvenation rave. Skip it if you want to walk home or prefer a small room.

Leeds splits into two halves at night. The centre is walkable: Distrikt, the HiFi Club and The Backroom are a few minutes apart around Call Lane and Duncan Street, Fibre and Headrow House are on Briggate, and Belgrave Music Hall is a little further north in the Northern Quarter. Wharf Chambers is a short walk east, and The Warehouse a short walk west, beyond Park Square.

The warehouses are the exception. Mint Warehouse on Water Lane is a few minutes on foot from Leeds station, but Beaver Works in Hunslet is a taxi ride. There is no metro or tram, so the end of the night means First's 24-hour number 24 bus, a walk, or the taxi rank at the station, which never closes.

Leeds works best when you pick one area per night and buy the big tickets early. For prices, door rules and how the night runs from the first pint to 06:00, read our full Leeds nightlife guide.
