The 10 best clubs in Bordeaux, ranked: L'Entrepôt, Bien Public, La Dame and more, with entry prices, closing times, door rules and the way home after the last tram.
The best clubs in Bordeaux are spread around the edges of the city rather than packed into one street. This list covers the ten rooms that shape a night out in 2026: two techno hangars and a club boat at the Bassins à Flot, a lounge club with a dress code, a right-bank room for house and techno, the city's largest gay-friendly club, two Chartrons bar-clubs, a concert hall with club nights and a free electro bar in the centre.
Each entry gives what we could verify: the price where it is published, the closing time, what the door wants and one honest reason to skip it. The basics first. Club doors open around midnight, and most nights end between 05:00 and 06:30. Tickets usually cost €8–22 on Shotgun. The IBOAT, long the city's best-known club, closed in February 2026, so ignore older lists that still rank it. Trams stop around 01:00, so plan your way home before you go in.
We ranked venues on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for music, from an industrial hangar to a boat. Crowd means people who came for the night rather than the photo. Door means how easy it is to get in and if you need a ticket first. Late licence means how long the night runs. Value compares the price with what you get. Every venue here has events or a listing in 2025 or 2026, and every price, time and address comes from the venue's own site, Shotgun, Bordeaux's tourist office or recent local press. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
An industrial hangar in northern Bacalan that has become one of the main techno rooms in the city since the IBOAT closed. HFL Production fills it with hard techno, hard trance and hard bounce on Friday and Saturday from 23:59 to 06:30, with tickets from €7.99 early to €22. Skip it if you want house or a gentle night: the music is fast and loud.
A right-bank room on Quai Deschamps with some of the broadest bookings in the city this autumn: UK garage with Halfpipe Records, deep techno with Basses Fréquences, DJ Deep, trance and disco. Nights run from 23:59 to 06:00 for €10–16.50, which is good value. Skip it if you want to walk between clubs: it stands on its own across the river.
Two rooms on a boat moored at the Bassins à Flot, with house, deep house, electro and disco from midnight. The October 2026 headline cost €21, and a rooftop opens in summer. Skip it if you want hard techno: it plays the warmer end of the dance floor.
The second room of the promoter behind L'Entrepôt, a hangar on rue Edouard Faure that books the hardest music in Bordeaux: hard techno, industrial, hardcore and hardstyle. Events run from 23:59 to 06:30 for about €13. Skip it if you want a regular club: it opens for events only.
The city's largest gay-friendly club, opened in 2017 near Saint-Michel, with room for about 500, drag shows and pop, reggaeton and electro. The tourist office lists Friday to Sunday from midnight to 07:00, with €10 entry including a drink. Skip it if you want an underground line-up: this is a party night, not a booking night.
A lounge-style club by the Bassins à Flot with cosy armchairs, dance performances and a hip-hop and electronic soundtrack, open Thursday to Saturday from midnight to 06:00. It is the dressed-up option on this list, with VIP tables for groups. Skip it if you dislike dress codes: smart dress is required and the door can refuse you.
A 900-capacity concert hall near Gare Saint-Jean, in a former theatre since 1997, with around 120 gigs a year and club nights such as Arch Club on 31 October 2026, from 21:30 to 01:30. It is the place to start a night with a band. Skip it if you want to dance until dawn: most events finish before the clubs fill.
A retro bar-club on quai des Chartrons, opened in November 2024 by three friends, with dance and 2000s nights that run until dawn. Its first birthday was a 12-hour party. Skip it if you want a techno line-up: this is a night of hits and themes.
A club on rue Notre-Dame in the Chartrons with afro house, tech house and indie dance several nights a week, often from 23:00 to about 05:00. Some midweek nights are free, and a Thursday headline cost €16.50. Skip it if you want a proven room: it is a young name on Shotgun with a small following.
An electronic music bar on rue des Piliers de Tutelle with an acoustically treated room and free DJ nights, from techno to indie dance. It is the easiest way into the scene: no ticket, central and open midweek. Skip it if you want a late finish: its nights end around 01:45.
Group the night by area and you will travel less. L'Entrepôt and Hangar DS share a promoter and sit in Bacalan near the tram B terminus at Berges de la Garonne, with La Dame and Le Theatro further down the same line at the Bassins à Flot. Village 59 and Gilly Club are in the Chartrons, also on tram B. Ultra Klubs and EZPZ are in the centre, and Bien Public stands on its own across the river.
Trams stop between midnight and 01:00, a little later from Thursday to Saturday. On those nights the TBNight N1 bus runs every 30 minutes from 01:10 to 05:05 between the Base sous-marine and the Gradignan campus, and lines N2 to N8 stop on demand once you book in the TBM app. A normal TBM ticket is valid. Otherwise, take a taxi.
Bordeaux rewards a plan: one ticket bought, one area chosen and the last tram or TBNight in mind. For techno, L'Entrepôt: an industrial hangar in Bacalan with hard techno and hard trance on Friday and Saturday from 23:59 to 06:30, and tickets from about €8. For house and disco, La Dame on its boat at the Bassins à Flot or Bien Public on the right bank.
L'Entrepôt and Hangar DS close at 06:30, Le Theatro and Bien Public at 06:00, and Gilly Club around 04:30–05:00. The tourist office lists Ultra Klubs until 07:00 from Friday to Sunday. Most bars close at 02:00.
Usually €8–22 on Shotgun: €10–16.50 at Bien Public, about €13 at Hangar DS and €21 for a headline night at La Dame. Ultra Klubs is listed at €10 with a drink, and EZPZ is often free.
No. The IBOAT closed for good in February 2026 after a two-month administrative closure and liquidation. A new club called Ublo was announced on the same ferry for the autumn of 2026.
Trams stop around 01:00. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, the TBNight N1 runs every 30 minutes from 01:10 to 05:05, and seven more lines stop on demand through the TBM app. Otherwise, take a taxi.
