The 10 best clubs in Athens, ranked: Oddity Club, Bolivar, Gazarte, Death Disco and more, with entry prices, the nights they open and how to get home.
The best clubs in Athens are split by season and by sound. From autumn to spring the electronic rooms are in the centre: Oddity Club on Iraklidon for techno, Death Disco near Thissio for gigs and post-punk nights, and Gazarte facing Technopolis in Gazi. In summer the party moves to the coast, and Bolivar on the sand in Alimos keeps its beach events going into October. Alongside them, the Greek-hits and urban clubs of Gazi sell tables and bottles rather than door tickets.
This list covers both sides. Each entry gives the entry price where it is published, the nights it opens, how you get in and one honest reason to skip it. The basics first: ticketed nights cost €10–25, Greek-hits clubs price a bottle for four to six people at €100–160, and metro lines 2 and 3 run all night on Saturdays but stop at 02:00 on Fridays.
We ranked clubs on five things: sound, crowd, door, late licence and value. Sound means a room built for music, from Oddity's techno to Gazarte's three stages. Crowd means people who came for the night rather than the photo. Door means you can predict how to get in: a ticket, a table booking or an event-only date. Late licence means nights that run well past the last metro. Value compares the price with what you get. Every club here has events or listings dated 2025 or 2026, and every price, day and address comes from the venue's own pages, More.com, Athinorama or Resident Advisor. We do not sell tickets ourselves.
The most focused techno room in Athens: industrial design on Iraklidon, open Friday to Sunday, with RØDHÅD, Stella Bossi and Funk Tribu among recent bookings. It is where the city's electronic crowd goes for a line-up rather than a table. Skip it if you want Greek hits or a bottle on the table.
A summer fixture on the Riviera for more than two decades: a beach and restaurant by day, dance events on the sand from midnight until 08:00 or 09:00, with names from David Morales to Drumcode in its history. The season runs into October. Skip it if you want a short night: getting there and back from the centre takes planning.
Three stages and a rooftop facing Technopolis, with concerts most nights and the TUNNEL club series bringing John Talabot, Sofia Kourtesis and Hunee in autumn 2026. Kerameikos station is next door, which makes it the easiest big venue to reach. Skip it if you like to drop in late: most nights are ticketed events with fixed start times.
A two-storey industrial room 100 metres from Thissio station that runs gigs and themed club nights from Thursday to Saturday, with Corpus Delicti, Die Selektion and David J of Bauhaus on the 2026 calendar. Tickets are cheap, from about €10. Skip it if you want a techno room: this is guitars, synths and singalongs.
A former printing works near Omonia turned into a creative hub, with a club, a main stage and a rooftop used for DJ sets, live electronic music and rooftop parties. It sits on Resident Advisor's list of popular Athens clubs. Skip it if you want a fixed weekly night: the programme changes with every event.
The urban club of Gazi, renovated on the former Rio site with LED walls and a new sound system, playing international trap, rap and commercial dance from Thursday to Saturday. It is the pick for a group that wants hits and a table. Skip it if you want underground electronic music or a night without a table budget.
A Gazi club with a themed party on each night it opens, from Lipstick on Monday to No Sense on Friday and Saturday, playing Greek and international hits. Bottles cover up to six people, which makes it good value for a group. Skip it if you want electronic music or a dance floor without tables.
A retro disco bar on Delfon in Kolonaki that plays the hits of the seventies, eighties and nineties every Friday and Saturday, with themed pop nights on top. It is the easiest dance floor in the upmarket part of town. Skip it if you want new music: the playlist is built for songs you already know.
An industrial space on Kerameikou that opens for large parties rather than weekly nights. Its Pantheon party in September 2026 ran an outdoor stage from 19:00 and an indoor stage until 04:00, with more than 30 artists. Skip it if you want somewhere to go on any given Saturday: it only opens for events.
A club on Nikis, a few minutes from Syntagma Square, that appears among Resident Advisor's popular Athens venues and sells its nights on More.com. Its central position makes it an easy add-on to a cocktail night around Syntagma. Skip it if you want a fixed programme: it works night by night.
Pick one cluster per night. Gazi is the densest: Gazarte, Destijl and Athina Night Livin are a few minutes apart around Kerameikos station. Oddity Club and Death Disco sit on either side of Thissio, so a gig at Death Disco can end with techno on Iraklidon. Ntiskompala in Kolonaki and Burger Disco Club near Syntagma suit a night that starts in the cocktail bars of the centre. Plex only opens for big parties, and Bolivar is a separate trip to the coast.
Getting around shapes the plan. On Saturday, metro lines 2 and 3 and the tram run all night, so Kerameikos, Syntagma and the coastal tram all still work at 05:00. On Friday the last trains leave Syntagma at 02:00, and Line 1 at Thissio stops around 00:15 every night.
Athens rewards a plan. Choose between a ticketed night and a table first, buy headline tickets on More.com in advance, and check the season: the beach clubs belong to summer and early autumn. Oddity Club on Iraklidon. It opens Friday to Sunday and books touring names: RØDHÅD opened its 2026–27 season on 3 October, and Funk Tribu played his first Greek date there in 2025.
It depends on the event. Beach parties at Bolivar are billed until 08:00 or 09:00, while the Pantheon party at Plex ran its indoor stage until 04:00. Check the ticket for each night.
Ticketed nights usually cost €10–25: €10–13 for a themed night at Death Disco, from €25 for a headline DJ at Bolivar. Greek-hits clubs in Gazi sell a bottle for four to six people at €100–160.
On the coast. Bolivar on Akti tou Iliou beach in Alimos runs dance events from midnight until morning, and the coastal tram line 7 runs along Poseidonos Avenue.
At the Greek-hits and urban clubs in Gazi, yes: you reserve by phone and buy a bottle for the group. At Oddity Club, Death Disco and Gazarte you buy a ticket instead.
